You know what's a fabulous cause?
Charity: Water
charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. We use 100% of public donations to directly fund sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need. Just $20 can give one person clean water for 20 years.
This specific page is Adam Lambert's donation page, something he set up so his fans could donate to the charity as a birthday gift. He's done similar work with Donor's Choose during his Glam Nation tour, and I'm sure will he will do it again the next time opportunity arises. :) Of course, you can donate to the site generally speaking, but I personally think hitting Adam's goal of $290,000 is a beautiful testament to the power an individual and a group of individuals can make. Consider donating, please! In whatever fashion you prefer. ♥ Any difference is a change for the better. (And I apologize for sounding like a cliche public announcement. *g*)
